Lots of it.

Crane Paper has a sale once a year. Cards, envelopes, letterpress, wrapping paper. Big paper, small paper, all for ridiculously cheap. An INCH of paper for $4? FOUR??? And it was the second day of the sale, so those ladies were very generous with the eyeballing of how much an inch is. They don’t want to have to move that shit back to the warehouse. TAKE IT AWAY, they yelled. And so we did.

(one box for each girl, plus all that on the bottom. I brought most of that to Audrey’s preschool. Well, some of it, anyway)
Hi
Love your blog – I’m a budding Letterpress printer, can you tell me when Crane has their paper sale or where I can find info on it? Paper is sooo expensive it would be nice to get some cheap! Thanks!
Steve
Anything I can do to support more letterpress!
I think they do it only once a year, so you’ll have to wait for the big sale, but the place is in Dalton, MA. Maybe they sell stuff from their warehouse regularly?
Good luck!
Thanks, I called Crane a month ago – I live in Chesterfield and thought it would be sweet if I could just stop by Crane (20 minutes from here) and get some discount paper. Unfortunately they don’t sell it there, you have to go through one of their distributors so the big sale sounds awsome! Does Crane announce it on their website? I’ll try searching…Thanks again!
